I just walked through lyf @Funan, a property under CapitaLand Ascott Trust. Here's what most REIT investors miss.
CapitaLand Ascott Trust (SGX: HMN) is one of those REITs that quietly delivers, and my visit reinforced why.
Three things that stood out:
1. Pricing Power: Unlike typical REITs, CLAS can adjust short-term room rates dynamically. That's a moat.
2. 7.4% Yield + Global Reach: 106 properties. 16 countries. 45 cities. S$8.7 billion in assets. Listed since 2006.
