With a flurry of IPO listings in Singapore SGX Group, there is an interesting secondary listing by way of introduction from AvePoint that caught my attention.
If you do not know, unlike a normal IPO, a listing by introduction is a process for a company to list its already-issued shares on the exchange (In this case Nasdaq) without offering new shares for sale to the public.
This method is suitable when the company's shares are already widely distributed, are listed on another exchange, or are distributed in specie to shareholders.
